MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE PT 2

Third on the marquee the MVP led Chicago Bulls take on the Black Mamba led LA Lakers. Rose is back off an astounding MVP season with a second scoring option (Rip Hamilton) and a 95 million dollar contract. Life's good for D.Rose, I believe he's going to come back this year even better than last season. Rip's on the team now , and is still a very good scorer who I believe can give them 17-20 points a game, and will relieve Rose's stress of having to always make plays and take big shots. LA is in disarray right now. Kobe's hurt but is still going to play, Bynum is suspended for the first 4 games of the season. Phil's gone and the Triangle Offense, which won the Lakers 2 back to back titles, is non existent as we saw in the preseason games. Fourth the best 1-2 punch in the game (Durant & Westbrook) and the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Superman led (at least for right now) Orlando Magic. Durantula is my early MVP pick he's a back to back scoring champ and one of the best players in the league I believe it's his year.Orlando still has Dwight, but they don't know where his head is (other than he's ready to leave Smallville). (In The Rock's voice) Finally some hope has come to the Los Angeles Clippers. The LA Clippers take on the Golden State Warriors. CP3 and Must See BG nothing gets better than that. I'm lying how about those 2 plus Caron Butler, DeAndre Jordan, and Chauncey Billups. The Warriors are hoping to find a new look under rookie head coach Mark Jackson. I'll assume the first thing he taught them was " HAND DOWN, MAN DOWN". Monta and Steph Curry are still the most dynamic backcourt in the league unless CP3 and C-Bill dethrones them. GSW also has David Lee a very good post scorer and rebounder.        My Picks- Knicks, Mavs, Bulls, Thunder,and Clippers.

Merry Christmas Eve sports fans!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow it's the start of an AMAZING upcoming NBA season. There are 5 great games on Christmas Day. First up The Celtics take on The Knicks. It's a rematch of the first round series in last years playoffs, but it's a totally new Knicks team. Why you ask because of Tyson Chandler. He is an immediate impact player especially on the defensive end. KG won't be able punk the Knicks on the interior anymore. The Truth isn't going to play tomorrow due to a bruised heel, but then again he may play. If he doesn't the C's are definitely gonna miss him. Second on the marquee AN NBA FINALS REMATCH, THE DEFENDING CHAMPION DALLAS MAVERICKS take on THE MIAMI HEAT. I don't have anything to say about this game just Mavs vs Heat nuff said. I'm lying look Dallas let a lot of key guys go most importantly Tyson Chandler and J.J Barea. You all know what those 2 guys did for Dallas. They did however replace them with what I believe to be solid replacements. Lamar Odom aka Mr.Versatility, Vince Carter aka coleSLAW, and Delonte West aka Mr.Schizophrenia. Odom is going to bring exactly what his nickname is versatility, he can shoot, pass, score, handle the rock, and play good D, also guard any position. Carter is SLAW but that's just my opinion, he can score and shoot not like he used to but he can still do it. West is a shooter and scorer basically. To be continued

EVERYTHING ELSE

Jets/Giants who ya got? History says you should pick the Giants they're 6-2 against their in city rival but this is the NFL anything can happen....anything. Rex is being Rex nuff said and Eli and his Giants are trying to bounce back from the loss to their division rival Washington Redskins(shocker!!!). Jerry Jones is scared of the Eagles and he should be They put their foot so far in our butts the last game they played us it's still stuck until beat them and pull it out. This is one of the greatest if not the greatest rivalry in football, Cowboys/Eagles nothing in my mind is better. Big Ben isn't starting in the Steelers next game not suprising sense he's hurt pretty bad.

COWBOYS

It's America's team, TRUE BLUE, the silver star,Jerry Jones, and the Cowboys cheerleaders nothings better right? Wrong look the Cowboys need to get it together. In the game against the Cardinals it was sickening. (Jason Garrett) how and why the hell would you ice your kicker? The result a loss in overtime. In the game against the Giants Romo overthrows a pass to Miles Austin that would have ended the game. Well we (I'm a Cowboys fan) allowed Eli Manning, one of the best QB's and clutch QB's in the NFL, a chance to punch it in the endzone and he did. Romo drives us to the 20 and Pierre-Paul  blocks the game tying field goal. Notice anything about those losses........ they were SELF DESTRUCTIVE!!!!! Honestly I believe it's time for a QB change. Romo is a good QB but he's inconsistent and is not clutch....at all. He's also f'd up a plethora of time in the playoffs. I don't know who would or could replace him but he's need to be replaced.

PEYTON/COLTS

The Colts have compiled a league worst 2-13 record, and need Peyton Manning. Without Peyton they're the worst team in the NFL....... with Peyton they're one of the best teams in the AFC and in the NFL. Peyton is a great quarterback, but he's old and is going to need a replacement when he finally decides to hang up the cleats. It seems almost certain that the Colts will have the #1 pick in the 2012 Draft (even though they've won 2 straight games). Andrew Luck is the consensus #1 pick and more than likely they'll pick him. The question is will he be ok with backing up Peyton Manning one of the best quarterbacks in the league and one of the greatest to play the game. If he wants to be in Indy he'd better.

AARON RODGERS/PACKERS

The Packers are the best team in the NFL. Their pursuit of perfection was halted by the Chiefs (a major shocker!!) but their hopes of a repeat as Champions are not. Their offense is immaculate leading the league in scoring (34.3) and top 5 in yds(4th-397.8) and pass yds(4th-298.1). Their defense is solid holding opponents to 21 ppg (14th in the league). Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL. He's thrown the most TDs (40) in the league, top 5 in yards (4th-4,360),  2nd in  pct (68.1), and has thrown 6 all year. He's a great passer and is a clutch performer. Rodgers also has phenomenal supporting cast which includes Jermichael Finley, Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Ryan Grant, and Jordy Nelson. He also has one the best OLBs in the NFL on defense Clay Matthews. The Packers as far as I'm concerned are going to repeat as champions. I see no other team in the NFC or AFC giving them any problems in the Playoffs.

TEBOW

All I Do Is Win should be Tim Tebow's theme song. In High school he won a state championship,In  college 2 National championships, and a Heisman Trophy. In the NFL nothing yet but a 6-2 record as starter, and a former 6 game winning streak ended by "The Golden Boy" Tom Brady and his Patriots. Tebow is a winner, he wins games plain and simple. Prior to the 2010 draft there was a plethora of speculation about his throwing mechanics (which weren't that good). So he worked hard and improved his mechanics drastically and is a better QB because of it. He's a solid passer but still needs improvement. Tebow is a clutch performer, down the stretch he makes plays. He puts the team on his back as he's done numerous times in his football career. Elway doesn't believe Tebow is the QB for the Broncos future, he's a damn fool. Tebow wins games, he's not afraid of the big moment, and when his passing skills are up to par he'll be one of the best if not the best QB in the NFL.

LA LAKERS

Kobe Bryant and his Lakers are in something of a dismay. After the thrashing the Dallas Mavericks gave them and Bynum's assault on J.J Barea the Lakers have been on downward spiral since then. All the Dwight Howard drama didnt make it any better. Chris Paul entered the mix and they almost got him until Stern messed it up. Pau and Lamar were offered up and that created controversy among the team and locker room . Lamar suprised and upset demanded a trade and was traded to Dallas. Lamar was a very essential and key player in the Lakers championships runs, now he's gone to the defending champs team. Who knows Pau's mental psychee after almost being traded? Bynum is suspended for the first 4 games of the season and is probably not happy. I don't know what the Lakers are gonna do but they better get it together.

EVERYTHING ELSE

In a sad event superstar 2guard Brandon Roy had to retire due to degenerative knees. It's sad to see because he was such a great player. Tyson Chandler and J.J Barea, 2 key players in Mavs championship run, are no longer part of the Mavs organization.Barea goes to a PG stacked Timberwolves team, Chandler joins all offense all offense no defense team in New York, but Chandler will make them a way better defensive team, just as he did for Dallas. Former Sixth Men of the Year Jamal Crawford and Lamar Odom are on new squads. Crawford goes to very good Trailblazer team, with potential to be a Top 4 team in the West right now, he could possibly be what they need to get over the hump. Lamar Odom was traded upon request due to being offered up in the Chris Paul trade. He was shocked and upset and was ready to go after he realized La felt he was expendable. He was traded to the defending champion Dallas Mavericks.

STERN

God says we shouldn't hate anybody but David Stern makes that hard as hell for me to do. First, the man locked out the NBA for 149 days. Secondly, he tried to pluck (in eubonics means to sucker or take advantage of) the players out of their money even though they generate the billions of dollars the league makes a year. Thirdly, he vetoed the the CP3 trade to LA, which was a good trade and gave the world a bunch of BS. "Basketball reasons" that's crap the real reason was about money, which he said after the CP3 to the LA Clippers trade. He stated that he made the trade so that the team would be appealing to a possible buyer. Why couldn't you just say that at first instead of being a liar?

SUPERMAN

Superman is looking for Planet Krypton because he's tired of Smallville (Orlando). The magic are a team of playoff failures. In 09' the Finals loss to LA, 10' loss to the Celtics, and last season's quarterfinals loss to the Hawks. Dwight's tired of it and so am I.With that being said it's time for Superman to head to Planet Krypton, but where is it? New York, LA, and Jersey have been tossed around in the rumor mill but none have made any moves. Jersey offered Brook Lopez and some picks, Lopez is good but he's not as great as Dwight, nowhere near on his level. I mean come on guys the best center in the league and superstar player Dwight Howard wants to be traded, so why isn't he getting any offers?

CP3 + The Blake Show = CHAMPIONSHIP right? I believe so but not this year. CP3, arguably the best PG in the league, is now an LA Clipper. Paul is going to make this team extremely better. Paul brings a new dimension to this team, a dimension that this team has never ever had. He's a great scorer, passer, and defender and he'll hit the big shot when they need to him to. He will also make Blake's life easier. Oh and it's gonna be a highlight reel every game I'm talkin Top 10 ESPN plays every night. As far as the playoffs go they'll be there and more than likely be a top 4 team in the West
