2012 NBA FREE AGENCY

<p>LINSANITY............. IS HEADED TO TEXAS WHERE EVERYTHING IS BIGGER!!!!! Yeah that's true, but bigger than New York I doubt it. The global icon, the Asian Persuasion, the international superstar Jeremy Lin is headed to the Houston Rockets. Lin came out of nowhere, and not only set the NBA but the world on fire in February. Lin lead the Knickerbockers to a 7 game winning streak, out shining future Hall Of Famers Dirk and Kobe in the games they faced each other. Kobe stated he'd never heard of Lin, after the 46 pt thrashing he gave them Kobe definitely knows who he is now. Lin is set to join a nice cast of young players which includes UCONN star Jeremy Lamb, European big man Donatas Motiejunas, Royce White, and KENTUCKY star Terrence Jones. With this young core of guys the Rockets should creep in the playoffs as the 6th, 7th, or 8th seed. One major question is can Lin do what he did in February in an 82 game season? I believe he can do it, he stepped up when he got an oppurtunity to play so this is another opportunity for him to prove the doubters and haters wrong. Let's be real Melo didn't want Lin back in NY, Lin was stealing his thunder, becoming the man, and Melo couldn't stand it. If he wanted him back he wouldn't call his contract "ridiculous", he'd be telling management to resign him so that they could be in the best position to win with their own Big 3. He didn't do that, too much Haterade instead of Gatorade in his bottle. Lin was winning (linning), Melo and STAT weren't. It'll be more of the same this season. Nuff Said

2012 NBA FREE AGENCY

Steve Nash is going to Hollywood!!! The Nashinator is joining The Black Mamba Kobe Bryant and his LA Lakers, in hopes of capturing that elusive 1st championship. Nash is going to bring a dimension to the Lakers that they haven't had since Magic Johnson. Nash is arguably the best passer in the NBA, and he's the best Pick N Roll PG in the NBA. He has good big men to run the PNR with, Gasol, one of the most skilled bigs in the league, struggled last season due to The Triangle Offense being obsolete in Mike Brown's
"system" ,and the lack of a TRUE PG. Bynum, who is overhyped, immature, but talented, will definitely benefit from Nash's presence. The PNR would transform Bynum into a superstar, just as it did for Amare Stoudemire. What most people dont seem to realize is that this will benefit Kobe also. Kobe was playing like Melo last season ( a plethora of isos and tough shots). Kobe finished 2nd in scoring, due to the fact that he's one of the greatest scorers ever, also because he was seemingly the Lakers only offensive option. Nash will space the floor, allow others to score, and take the pressure off Kobe. My point of view on the situation is the Lakers will be 2 or 3 in the West and they will play the Thunder in the WCF. Will they be victorious we'll see. The Lakers also signed reliable scorer Antwan Jamison, who'll provide a nice scoring punch off the bench or even in the starting lineup over a declining Metta World Peace. Nuff Said.

2012 NBA FREE AGENCY

NBA FREE AGENCY...... the most exciting spectacle in the NBA besides The Finals. The 2 biggest free agents Deron Williams and Steve Nash made their monumental (and possibly league changing) decisions this offseason. D-Will resigned with the Brooklyn Nets, after speculation that he'd go home to the Dallas Mavericks. The Nets have made moves that will set them up to be one of the East's elite teams. The Nets traded for Joe Johnson, an overpaid, underperforming, but very talented 2 guard. The Nets resigned SF Gerald Wallace, possible All-Star C Brook Lopez, and Kim K's ex-husband
Kris Humphries. Jay-Z's Nets also dropped out of the Dwightmare Sweepstakes. My point of view on the situation is the Nets will be between the 2 and 4 seed in the playoffs. Nuff said. Pt.2 NEXT
